2. We design, fast & efficiently

The Huston team is made up of senior designers who have been creating high quality design for successful brands for more than 15 years. Every delivery we work on is handled with the same high level of quality, always.

3. Design proposal within 48 hours

Within a few days you will receive delivery from us. Simpler tasks take as little as 48 hours. Larger projects are broken down into parts and we almost always deliver full or partial deliveries within 48 hours. You can submit as many change requests as you like.

4. Done! Time to add the next request

Once you are satisfied with the result, approve the request and download all the files related to the project. Time to add the next design request!

Why do you price your work this way?

The main reason we use this model is to make it predictable. For you and for us. In the past, we have priced work both per project and per hour and have had success and challenges with both models. After more than 15 years of working with clients of all sizes, we have found that the subscription model works best for both us and the client. We know how many clients we will have per period and our clients can feel secure in the knowledge that they can get continuous high quality design work without the uncertainty of final prices, hourly rates or availability.

Nor do they have to spend time on detailed briefs, cost estimates, meetings, varying billable hours for ongoing work. Our clients also choose Huston Pro as an alternative to recruitment and the costs associated with full-time salaries (> £100,000 + benefits + recruitment).

What does unlimited design mean?

Unlimited design means unlimited design requests. We work with you to meet your needs and deliver projects on time based on your requests. We work on one request at a time. If some more important task comes up, you can switch the ongoing task whenever you want. It's a bit like Netflix, unlimited movies and series and you watch one at a time. Sometimes you change series in the middle and then return to the one you watched first. So yes, like Netflix but with design work.

How soon can you start?

We can usually get you up and running in just a few days. Once you start your subscription, your Trello board is automatically created and the login is sent to you within a day. Once you have entered your first design request, we will start work immediately.

How much can you produce per month?

However, what we can always say is that we will always deliver against agreed deadlines as long as they are reasonable!

Is there a minimum commitment?

There is no minimum commitment in our subscription. You can cancel at any time with a monthly payment and scale up or down as needed.

How fast can I expect delivery?

You will receive new deliveries on your requests on average within 1-3 days. Design projects are by nature very variable in scope. So for smaller assignments, one delivery usually means a finished design. For complex requests, we split the work into partial deliveries and deliver accordingly.

What if I only need one thing designed?

You can cancel your subscription at any time if all your design needs have been met. Most of our clients choose to work with us longer because they expect to have an ongoing need. So if you only have one item to do, it's probably better to turn to an agency or freelancer who charges per project.

Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?

Good question! For starters, the annual cost of a full-time senior designer at a higher level now exceeds about $100,000 plus benefits (and the good ones are really hard to come by). Aside from that, you may not always have enough work to keep them productive full-time. With the monthly plan, you can choose to cancel when you no longer have work for us to do.

Is there a limit to the number of tasks I can have?

Once subscribed, you can add as many design requests to your queue as you want, and they will be delivered one by one based on when you submitted the task and the priority you have set.

Who are your designers?

Huston Pro consists of two people, the founders of Huston Agency, Andreas & Richard (you can read more about us here). This means that you will always work directly with one of us. Requests for power-ups like animations or custom illustrations can be provided by our selected partner designers.

What programs do you use?

We do digital design in Figma, print work in Indesign, image processing in Photoshop, produce films in Da Vinci Resolved, organize in Trello and have video meetings with Google Meet.

How do add my design request?

We offer a lot of flexibility in terms of how you request designs using Trello. Some common ways for customers to request designs directly through Trello, by sharing Google docs or wireframes or even by recording a short Loom video (for those who prefer not to write their instructions). We really only have one rule, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's basically okay.

What if I don't like the design I get?

No worries! We will keep revising the design until you are 100% satisfied.

What does "unlimited video meetings" mean?

While this is a productized design service, in a world where artificial intelligence is on the rise, we want to embrace human interaction. Let's recognize that people connect with people. We are drawn to authenticity, vulnerability and self-awareness. At Huston, we embrace the power of relationships. It's how we build trust. That's why we've chosen to allow our clients to book a video meeting when and how often they want. We want to create the best conditions for understanding you, getting to know you and your brand as we work together.

What's your refund policy?

We do not offer refunds. We conduct audits until you are satisfied. You pay in advance for each month. If you are not satisfied with the service as a whole, you can terminate it at any time. Therefore, we also recommend starting with a monthly plan.

What is Early Access?

We are currently putting together a group of customers to test the process. Basically, this is a beta program where we will work closely with our early adopters to refine the processes, tools and workflows that are part of the service. The goal is to apply an iterative, product-like mindset to our service that will allow us to build a program tailored to fit the needs of the modern working world. For those customers who choose to sign up for Early Access, the discounted price is offered until they decide to cancel.
